With Republican Help, Feinstein Gets Another BIG Catholic Scalp: Judge Brett Kavanaugh

Americans watched in horror as leaked, uncorroborated and baseless accusations of sexual misconduct from high school accusations, that should have been addressed privately, were aired in full view of the American public.
As a result, the lives of both accused—Judge Brett Kavanaugh, and accuser—Christine Blasey Ford, have been destroyed.
What would allow anyone with a conscience to undertake such a scorched earth policy? The answer is obvious when considering the Democrat’s growing and merciless religious bigotry.
Emboldened by an increasingly feckless, timid and directionless GOP establishment, the Democrats have escalated their attacks on people of faith in America in recent decades, and never once paying a price.
After all, who can forget the prejudice grilling dealt to Catholics throughout the years, as they sought to serve their nation in the Judiciary?
William Pryor’s nomination to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, 15 years ago,  saw Senators Durbin, Schumer and Feinstein questioning America’s, “Christian perspective;” a quote from the judge. They used this as a predicate for disqualification.
Then, in 2005, when John Roberts was up for consideration for Chief Justice, Feinstein sought to impose her old and tired religious test on yet another Catholic. She asked Roberts if he’d address national issues, “out of adherence to the dictates of one's [his] religion.”
When two women, law professor Amy Coney Barrett and Joan Larsen, were tapped by President Trump to fill two appellate court positions, both Senators Durbin and Feinstein sneered at the Christian faith both of the nominees. At one point during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Feinstein even made an observation about Barret’s Catholic faith, saying, “The dogma lives loudly within you, and that’s of concern.”
In each one of these cases, we see a common denominator: Catholic contempt from the Senior Senator from California.
Now, Brett Kavanaugh finds himself the latest victim of the Democrats’ attack on America’s Judeo-Christian ethic, and on Catholics in particular—as meritless accusations of sexual misconduct, that should have remained confidential, have magically found their way to the press.
Given Senator Feinstein’s well-established track record of religious bigotry, it doesn’t take much imagination to figure out how that happened.
But instead of punishing or pushing back on this direct attack on our precious First Amendment guarantees, the GOP, in the person of soon-to-be former Senator Jeff Flake, is busy tripping all over himself to give the Democrats a victory they desperately seek: an end of the Kavanaugh nomination to the High Court. Meanwhile, the lives of women, children and highly qualified Judge Kavanaugh have been decimated.
The Democrats and their GOP enablers have tainted the United States forever. Americans now realize that if they are of good standing, desiring to serve and Catholic, Democrats will exact the heaviest of prices, if such people dare to throw their hat in the ring.
It’s no longer enough for liberals, that they put up a sign reading, “Catholics need not apply.” They want you to know they’ll forever ruin and lay waste to your life for daring to oppose their anti-American ideology. After all, what’s more un-American than the Democrat’s, “guilty until proven innocent,” standard they’ve used to smear Kavanaugh?
If only Americans could turn to leaders willing to oppose the disintegration of our once proud society. Sadly, they appear not to exist.

A society's worth isn't measured by how much power is seized by its government but rather, how much power is reserved for its people.
